Pest Control

Wood Destroying insects

Wood destroying insects in Virginia are typically associated with termites. Rightly so as the termite control and damage industry is a $5 Billion per year industry. The average home in Virginia has 24 colonies of termites within striking distance. A single colony of termites can eat a 8 foot 2x4 in about 30 days. We believe prevention is key and feel every home should have a termite protection plan in place. Because we believe so firmly in this, we love to offer new construction pre-treats to builders.

However, powder post beetles, old house borers, carpenter bees and carpenter ants are wood destroying insects as well.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) focuses on effectively solving pest problems while minimizing risks to people, pets, and the environment. We work closely with homeowners or tenants to develop a customized plan that reduces environmental impact. Our approach emphasizes identifying and eliminating the conditions that attract pests, making the space less inviting and helping to prevent future infestations.
